Death Benefit

As of October 1st, 2023. Each member is automatically entitled to $12,000 of Death Benefit coverage upon completion of the Guaranteed Issue Retiree enrollment application. This benefit is provided at no cost to the member. The Welfare Fund is self insured and the money is set aside for this benefit.

NOTE: There are no paid up options on the aforementioned policy.
